January 22, 2021 Last day for persons seeking to run for the office of Legislative Council Representative to submit, in person, at the Election Office a written, signed statement that the person seeking office has not been convicted of a felony as defined by the Elections Law and to complete and file the required documents for a criminal background investigation to be conducted. *Required paperwork available at Election Office. Art. V, Sec. 1505 (E) (1)
January 22, 2021 Last day for District Councils to accept nominations for Legislative Council Representative at a meeting of the District Council. Each District Council must file a certified list of the nominees with the Election Board and post the list within 5 days after such nominations. Art. V, Sec. 1505 (E)(2) & (3)
January 22, 2021 Last day for District or Community Councils to accept nominations for candidates to District Councils at a meeting of the District or Community Council. District or Community Council must file a certified list of nominees with the Election Board and post the list within 5 days after such nominations. Art. VII, Sec. 1703 (F) (1) & (2)

March 23, 2021 Last day to appeal to the Legislative Council, a District Council’s Adjusted Schedule of Representative to a District Council.

Within 48 hours of issuing the Certificate of Election Results Election Board shall post the Election Results. Art. VIII, Sec. 1806 (J)
Within 2 business days and after issuance and posting of the Certificate of Election Results at the Election Office. File an election contest with Board, if a contest is desired. Art. IX, Sec. 1902 (A)
Within 5 days after the Certificate of District Residents has Been posted in a district. File an appeal with the Legislative Council to contest the number of votes given to each district by the Board, if an appeal is desired. Art. VIII, Sec. 1801 (B)

Within 20 days after posting the Certificate of Election Results The Legislative and District Councils shall issue Certificates of Election and seat persons for each office on the Council and District council. Art. VIII, Sec. 1808 (A)
